There are sheep on the hills.——看！有很多羊在山坡上。 　　And there are cows in the fields.——还有很多奶牛在田野里。 　　And there are rabbits!——这儿还有兔子！ 　　hill意为“山坡，丘陵”， 　　field意为“田野，牧场”， 　　rabbit意为“兔子”。 　　Come back, Dan!——快回来，丹！ 　　There aren't rabbits in the river, Dan.——河里面可没有兔子啊，丹。 　　there aren't 意为“那没有”，否定形式。

　　Lesson 2 　　Are there shops in your town？——你们镇上有商店吗？ 　　Yes，there are. Look！——是的，有，你看！ 　　shop意为“商店”。 　　Are there...？意为“那有没有...？”引导一般疑问句，回答为Yes，there are./No，there aren't. 　　Are there buses？——那有公共汽车吗？ 　　No，there aren't.——不，那没有。 　　bus意为“公共汽车”。 　　No buses？——没有巴士？ 　　No！There aren't roads in our town.——没有！我们的镇上没有马路。 　　road意为“马路，公路”。 　　本单元重点 　　1、there are 意为“那有”，there aren't 意为“那没有”，是there be 句型中的复数形式，后面接名词的复数形式。 　　2、Are there...？意为“那有没有...？”引导一般疑问句，回答为Yes，there are./No，there aren't.
