Personally, I think that we should help our friends out even though they don't ask for help. So, people are not reluctant to ask for help and that doesn't mean we should not help them out. Additionally, I've always felt that true friendship is very important. The old saying, "A friend in need is a friend indeed," goes a long way. A friend is a person who you can always count on when you need them.
